Cara is a post-graduate student at MIT working on her master’s in artificial intelligence. She loves to flirt with other students, especially the TAs and even the faculty themselves.

“I just find there is a multitude of flirting opportunities in an educational environment,” she told Flirting.com. “In fact, I will really miss that once I am finished with academics and create the world’s first fully functional fake brain.”

How can you put her theory to good use? Easy, if you are out of school, maybe its time you learned a new skill by taking a continuing education class at a local community college.

“I often times call up friends just to shoot the bull,” he said, “especially, if there are some flirtables nearby. It makes them think I am in demand.”

Rod is a little deceptive but it seems to work for him because he is playful and does his campy bit in the spirit of fun flirting. Yes, it is cheesy and it could prove embarrassing if it were discovered his blockbuster real estate deal was really a conversation about his aunt’s new garage. However, he is not harming anyone and he is having fun. First and foremost, be like Rod and have fun.

Lorrie is an assistant internet researcher in Lincoln, Nebraska. She confessed to Flirting.com that she is addicted to the Internet.

‘I spend nearly my whole day online and this makes it difficult to get out and flirt with real live people,” she said. “More often than naught, I end up flirting by sending suggestive emails and jokes… After all, it gets old.”

If Lorrie is not willing to break out of her routine, then maybe she should invest in some newer technology. Video chatting is becoming more and more common and perhaps it will give more of a lifelike interaction that she craves. Still, nothing beats the real thing, but it is a start.

Gretchen is a social case worker in Suffolk County New York. She also is a wine aficionado and enjoys nothing more then “good conversation, a good Shiraz and a man to share it all with.”

Gretchen recanted for us a tale of how she went on a wine sipping tour in Napa Valley, California, and flirted with the owner of a winery:

Rip is self-described ladies man working as an on air radio personality in Las Vegas. He has a weekly show about gambling and is an expert on Texas Hold'em. He claims to be an expert on “ladies hold'em,” a game where he rounds up hot women with his nimble and suave flirting skills. He loves talking women into a relaxing, dreamlike, if not hypnotic state.

“More often than not,” he said, deeply,” women are attracted to my voice.”

Rip underscores an oft-overlooked part of the flirting game: how you sound. If you have a high nasal irritating voice, work on lowering it to a soft pitch by practicing reading out loud. Nobody likes a megaphone in the ear, they like a guy like Rip in their ear, gently talking them into flirting frenzy.

Terry is a gym instructor in Charlotte. She loves a man with firm buns, she confided to Flirting.com.

“I don’t want to be superficial, but I am naturally attracted to men that are in fantastic shape….” She said. “I don’t want to roll up next to a fat ass in the morning,” she joked.

Terry illustrates another point about flirting compatibility. It is okay, to want someone who is similar. Far too all the greater transgression is demanding a firm set of buns, when yours have the tone of a melted candle. So the advice goes, if they are in your league, then play ball.

Phil from Jonesboro, Arkansas, cannot make up his mind about which girls to flirt with and why. He can’t decide where to go to meet girls to flirt with. He can’t decide to go boxers or briefs. The idiot can’t decide on anything.

“Flirting can seem so overwhelming that I am often left in a sort of paralysis of indecision,” Phil told Flirting.com. “Then again, maybe it is not so bad… maybe instead it is...”

You cannot get anywhere flirting if you cannot make a choice. You have to decide to make a flirting move eventually. It does not necessarily have to the right move, just a move. So, move it !

Casey is a customer intake representative for a diabetes treatment center in North Miami, Florida. Her problem is she loves sweets and coffee, a big no-no considering where she works. She offered a cute clinician a donut once, and he frowned at her. Not a good flirting experience.

“He basically looked at me like I had insulted him in some way,” she said. “I guess he literally take it to heart that sweets are the enemy.”

Don’t despair Casey. Sweets are surely enjoyable in moderation and it is this guy’s loss if he doesn’t see that. Simply drive over to a coffee shop, especially one where they sell pastries. You are more likely to find a guy who doesn’t mind a sweet every so often with a cup of java, just like you.

Ashley is a home furnishing consultant in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. She simply spends every moment outside of work, walking a park. She claims parks offer her great opportunities to flirt, especially with guys taking their dogs for a stroll.
