Tom from Baltimore, is an attorney who is very successful in the courtroom and in any room where you can flirt, for that matter.  He attributes professional and flirting success to his calm and collected approach to flirting.

"Women see that I have things under control," he said.  "This is no different than my strategy in a trial.  I am building confidence."

The court finds Tom guilty of great flirting on all accounts.  Develop a look like you've got it going on and you (more often than not) will.

Mellissa is a flight school instructor in Spokane, WA, where she flirts by acting "flighty."  Her carefree approach serves her well, she says.

"I think a man likes a gal that is whimsical and a free spirit," she told Flirting.com.

We agree to a point.  Depending on your occupation, a carefree attitude might not always be the best thing.  Just think if you were in a plane with a flighty girl like Mellissa.  Yes, by all means, enjoy the flirting but keep your parachute handy.

Toby has a fine eye for wine and a finer eye for great flirting.  He runs a restaurant in Sharon, MA. The business is through the roof and so is his flirting game, he told us.

"Hey, I know a lot about wine and women love that," he said.  "They think it means I'm refined."

He could have fooled us.  Toby has all the prerequisites of a fine vintage flirt.  He knows that flirting gets better with experience.  You can't disagree.

Tracy is a landscape architect in El Paso, Texas, and is a firm believer that to successfully build a great landscape for flirting you need to get into the right flirting state.  That state is decidedly positive.

"If you are down in the dumps, you will never have any success flirting," she shared with Flirting.com.  "It is almost like a Catch 22.  If you don't have anyone, you might be down in the dumps.  The trick is to get positive."

Tracy said to get possibility you need to practice that smile.  Everywhere you go, she said, keep practicing.  When you see yourself in the reflection of a mirror, pay attention to what kind of smile is shining back.  Follow her advice and you're bound to be smiling and flirting very well in no time at all.

Jerry is a guitar teacher in Denver, Colorado.  He flirts by playing old country ballads on his guitar about how his heart is broken.  Take your pick of any old country tune and chances are that Jerry can strum it out on the Tennessee flat top box.

"Music is very poetic and the songs you play are the songs that have meaning to you," he says, "they tell people something about the musician.  Like what they were thinking and what is important to them."

Jerry's flirting advice should be music to your ears.  If you've ever had an inkling to learn to play an instrument out of sheer enjoyment, you can add to it, the joy of great flirting.  Women love men that can strum a tune.

Paul is a senior accountant in Boston and loves to flirt with women simply by letting them know that he's smart and available.  How does he do it?

"I basically ask them if they can recommend a nearby restaurant," he said.  "I really think the glasses help, too.  They make me look smart."

You can look smart too, but emulating Paul.  Women aren't attracted to dummies and you don't have to be smart to figure that out.

Debbie is a CAD drafter in Duluth, MN, and believes that to flirt well you not only have to carry yourself well, you need to carry some kind of object that will make for great flirting.

"Come Christmas time," she said, "rarely will you see me without something like a candy cane."

In the summer she prefers lollipops.  All year round, men prefer her.  You get the point.  Carry something with you and you will carry yourself better.

James is media consultant in Washington, DC.  He is distinguished and accomplished in both his field and also when it comes to flirting.

"I'm not the best looking guy in the world," he said self-deprecatingly. "But, I think women see a man that has done something with his life.  Or, maybe I'm a father figure to them.  Maybe it's the money, but I don't think that's everything."

James is right.  Woman, like men, are attracted to wealth, but even the wealthy must have something going for them.  After all, there's a lot of rich people out there to flirt with.  Better to flirt with the rich one with a personality.  James is that type and women see that.

Carrie is a clinical trials officer in Torrance, California.  She spends lot of her day on the phone but that still doesn't mean she doesn't have time to flirt, even if she is juggling a few hotlines at once.

"Flirting to me is about body language," she said.  "Even if you are engaged on the phone, you can still make eye contact, you can

still move your hands and you can still flirt."

Good point.  Rarely are you ever so engaged that you can't, with little effort, swing your eyes in the direction of a would-be flirter. Unless, of course you have something like an axe in your hand.  That would be tough.  But the point is flirt with your whole body, not just your mouth.
